us 'Saudis' are happy for the high gas prices :lol: ... we're making more and more money.. :P .... after all, Saudi has 30% of the world's oil :wink:

actually the increase in gas prices is due to the price gauging gasoline companies. ie. shell... and does not improve the situation of saudi arabia

yes it does.. Saudi has the biggest oil company in the world... "Saudi Aramco" that is... it's the only oil company working in Saudi Arabia which makes it the only oil company profitting from the saudi oil.. so yes, Saudi is getting more and more money due to the high gas prices :P

no they are getting more money from OIL prices. the gas companies are still making record profits.and that has nothing to do with saudi arabia

having 30% of world's oil, I think Saudi is all about oil... gas prices are high because of many things, not because oil companies wish to make more profit... the growing economy of china (12% a year), the tension between the US and Iran, the occupation of Iraq, tripal conflicts in Nigeria, etc... oil companie don't control oil prices, demand and supply does... and since the demand is high and the supply is short, expect oil prices to go even higher... oil is valuable and it will only last for 80 more years... so forget about cheap oil cuz the prices will continue going up untill the world;s oil reserves run out...

LOL warlord keeps missing that.

US has several good ideas on getting away from Fossil Fuels, that and vechiles with better and better gas milage. My car is gettin between 28-31 mpg. 8)

Too expensive and i can't fit in them (I'm 6 feet 6 inches tall). I barely fit in my damn car as is. Maybe we oughta start a "Post pix of your Car Thread".
