How do I use my wepons with my troops?

have you trained some of your soldiers, go to your training page and you can train them there. When you attack it will say how many trained men and how many of them had weapons, hope this is what you were after, if not please explain more and we will try to help you.

They are automatically equipped during battle, first to the mercenaries, then to the trained soldiers, then to the untrained. Any weapons left after that are useless.
