I know this is asking a lot, but it's become pretty obvious that being in an official alliance offers members a huge advantage. I understand that this is built into the game for a reason, but it almost seems unfair to look at the first page and see [E] and [FU] members occupying most of the spots.
I know it would require a huge amount of work, but maybe we should discuss a way to build more functions for alliances into the game interface itself. Yes, there's a commander/officer system now, but people who have no connections in the game have a very small chance of finding a single officer, much less a support network able to provide 100 clicks/week.
I'm not calling for some sort of ridiculous immediate action or anything, but I think discussion on this subject will help balance the game out. There has to be a way to encourage the creation of more clans like [E] and [FU].
