******* Wars Beta Launch

We are very happy to announce the launch of ******* Wars: The Ultimate High School Battle Royale. ******* Wars is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Players can choose one of four high school cliques to play as: Cheerleaders, Jocks, Nerds, or Stoners, and build gangs, recruit minions, buy weapons and attack skills, and spy on and attack each other.

The game is based on the Oilfight/KoC script, without a lot of new features, yet. However, we have already started work on version 2.0, which we are coding completely from scratch, and will add many more layers of complexity to the basic game. We hope to launch the new version of the site after round one.

In the meantime, why not stop by, take a look around, and compete for $200 in cash prizes?

Yes, that seems odd, no? We are figuring it out.

In the meantime, yes, as I mentioned, it is a KoC clone script that we are working to debug. We just wanted to get something going to gauge interest, while we develop our own software.

yes, we're sticking to the $100 first round prize. and like I said, v 2.0 of the software will be a whole lot less exploitable, and offer a WAY more intricate gameplay system.

I only based it on the KoC clone script because I have been playing oilfight for most of the current round (am currently ranked in the 80s or so) and just really loved the game. I wanted to get started immediately, and maybe that was a mistake.

At any rate, we'll keep plugging the holes. Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions.

fun? its the base script, with mods to the names of everything and the look of it. reminds me of hellwars ages 1 - 3 or so. not to mention all the games that have come from that script. And more than likely all the same exact bugs/exploits.

ive not been playing MMO game that long... OF, swars, and this one are the only ones ive played... i like this one, as its new and getting kinks worked out of it... once its fully ready, itll look worthy of playing.... plus i like the theme... geeks, jocks, cheerleaders, and stoners.... lol

Just wanted to say we fixed the base script bugs (before first launch) and added lots of features really quickly within 1-3 months and some minor ones as the game progressed. The game is pretty solid right now except for the spy system which was Oser's doing and he still hasn't returned.

While I don't think its nice, it sure is funny! Though its obvious the owners didn't take much time to change anything in it before releasing it as a live game, with three digit prizes.

It's well known that the script being used is FULL of exploits. People will exploit it until its fixed. I'm sure funky/thewird won't just give away the fixes that they spent their own time and effort to fix. They might sell them though.

As much as Malcom keeps going on about the 2.0 version, thats "going to be coded from the ground up by us", maybe he should focus on that, instead of patching the beta script. Maybe he should save his prize money and use it to pay a coder to work on that 2.0 version. There won't be fair gameplay in game for a while.

Ohh, Ohh I played DT! Many of us did. Accounts are still there with like 40-80k turns. Too bad you can only attack within 5 levels of your own. So its a good chance you couldn't mass many. I know I have a BETA and and Omega accounts.

It's past bad, the admin over there hasn't commented on any of the bugs. Didn't you kids say that it was sooooooo much better than here? Think you spoke too quickly. Game has gone from playable to sh*t in just 24 hours...massive glitches enabling some people to nearly max out their stats, money, ect.

Just going off what they said earlier. The stated it was the first full round, they admitted it was buggy/exploitable, yet they went on.

i dont have any plans to do any more exploiting. i got that out of my system the first day. i wish the admin best of luck with his game. what other people do with the remaining bugs, it is not something I have done, nor condone, but a fact of life when using buggy code.
